Brian Hayes’ knowledge of design and manufacture is second to none. With a wealth of experience he was able to quickly assess if our ideas were achievable offering suggestions and new practical ideas that we ended up incorporating into our final kitchen design. The finish of the kitchen was superb reinforcing our decision to go bespoke and making the effort spent finding a quality craftsman absolutely worth it.
Located in one of Belfast’s treelined avenues, this elegant period home approached Brian Hayes Bespoke Furniture Design to create a kitchen that would take precedence in a large scale extension to the rear of the property. A large entertaining area included conservatory, snug and dining area making this a highly social space within the home. The client wanted built in storage, clean lines, practicality and the inclusion of a large stainless steel Island sink unit which would be the centrepiece of this functional social space.
The client had already decided on the components parts of the kitchen and gave a tight brief. Brian Hayes executed the brief ensuring no detail was overlooked.
I wasn't sure how to incorporate my TV into a sitting room without losing space but wanted to get rid of a fairly unsightly TV stand.
Brian Hayes suggested incorporating custom cabinetry. He created two bespoke cupboards which are really useful storage nooks. Then placed the TV on a bracket that can be pulled out and angled for comfortable viewing, and pushed back in when not in use.
The design is functional, fits in with the aesthetics of the room and actually has made the room feel bigger.
